SWEET PERIL Teaser #3!!!

Here’s your February teaser!  Do you all have any idea how hard it is to find yummy teasers that won’t be spoilers?  Because I loathe spoilers, and I refuse to give them.

We’ll be seeing more of Blake, son of the Duke of Envy, in Sweet Peril.  I love him, and I think you guys will really enjoy Anna’s time with him, too.  And don’t worry, they’re just friends.  ;-P  This scene is Kaidan, Anna, and Blake.  They’re experiencing a bit of a tense moment, but Blake can always be counted on for a little comic relief.  I hope you won’t be offended by the mild language, but it’s really hard to get Blake and Kai to behave when they’re together…

      “If this is about earlier, we were only kidding around,” Blake said.
     “I told you she can be stubborn when she wants, didn’t I?” Kaidan asked, stretched out on his chair with his hands behind his head. “You didn’t believe me.”
      “I’m not being stubborn!” I put my hands on my hips and scowled down at him, wondering if maybe I wasbeing stubborn. He raised an eyebrow when I said, “And you have no room to talk. You’re a mule.”
       Blake laughed and pointed at Kai. “She just called you an ass, man.”
      “I am an ass-man,” Kai stated.
      Blake laughed harder and I rolled my eyes.
