Sequel News

Hi everyone,

I’m sorry that there is still no sequel news.  The second Sweet book has not yet been taken to the acquisitions board for various reasons (nothing to do with the actual sequel itself, to my knowledge). I’m not sure if/when it’s going to be picked-up at this point. Maybe this fall?

​Along with being a writer, I’m a voracious reader.  I know how much it sucks to wait for the next installment in a series you adore.  I hate waiting a whole year…so the thought of making my readers wait even longer than that hurts my heart.  I’m sorry.  I have no control over it.  All I can do is hope that word of mouth will spread about Sweet Evil and sales will help nudge the publishers.

Some people have asked if I can take the sequel to another publisher, but we don’t want to do that.  I want to stay loyal to the ones who took a chance on me. If they say no, then we’ll rush it off to different publishers. Either way, it’s going to be a long wait.  

In the meantime I’m just trying to stay busy and positive.  Pictures of baby animals help.

Thank you so much for your support and patience.  This summer is extremely crazy, but I hope to have a special Kaidan point of view scene written for you come September.  I seriously have the BEST fans in the world.  You guys make it all worthwhile, and I’m certain this will all work itself out in due time.
