YES! This is my favorite part of the whole journey to publication. I love, love, love seeing the new covers! It makes me HYPER, guys. I’ve been hard to live with for the past two days, absent-minded and goofy with excitement. Not to mention trying to set up a last minute cover reveal. Whew! But bloggers are awesome, and they roll with it. I could continue to babble, but I know why you came here, so let’s just get down to it, shall we? Sweet Peril is my second book, the sequel to Sweet Evil, and it’s the second book in the Sweet Trilogy. Sweet Peril is slated to release on April 30th, 2013. A little insider info: Sweet Peril picks up six months after Sweet Evil ends, right after the end of Anna’s junior year of high school. Blurb: Anna Whitt, daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a claim. She’d been naive about a lot of things. Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind. When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life? And Now For the Pretty… The Sultry The Dark The Fierce Yep, those are the same models. I love that the dress is beautiful, but it’s not the focus of the picture. Her face is. And what a face! RAWR, Anna!
I LOVE IT SO MUCH, and here’s why: It captures the tone of the story so perfectly, in so many ways. I cannot wait for you to read it. ~ For fun Sweet Peril hints, visit my Pinterest board ~ Add Sweet Peril on Goodreads ~ Preorder on Amazon ~ Preorder on B&N ~ Preorder on The Book Depository Hugs and much love, Wendy
