Calling All Inkies!

Hi everyone! Today I get to do my very first live chat on Inkpop! We’ll be discussing my journey into the top five, and what I did to prepare my manuscript to be read by a HarperCollins editor. The editor who read my project and took it to the acquisitions board, Alyson Day, will also be there to answer questions about what makes projects stand out to editors. I hope you’ll all stop by!

In case you’re not familiar with Inkpop, it’s a site run by HarperCollins publishing, geared towards readers and writers of Young Adult literature. There are over 60,000 active users, and it’s growing daily. Inkpoppers can post their writings and receive feedback, which is what I did last year. Users also have lively discussions in the forums, and can actively join discussions with published authors. I’m so grateful to Inkpop, and there will always be a special place in my heart for Inkies of all ages.
